To provide an electro-hydraulic pressing tool which prevents the rise of fluid pressure after the completion of the operation, such as press fitting, without using a pressure control valve 11 by stopping the operation of a hydraulic pump 9 through detecting the fluid pressure using a pressure sensor 14.

The electro-hydraulic pressing tool carries out the operation, such as press fitting, by pressing the member to be pressed by the pressure of the fluid discharged from the hydraulic pump 9 driven by a DC motor 8. The electro-hydraulic pressing tool is configured so as to have the pressure sensor 14 for detecting the pressure of the fluid discharged from the hydraulic pump 9, and a comparator 16 and a stop switch 15 for stopping the DC motor 8 through intercepting the current for driving the DC motor 8 when the fluid pressure detected by the pressure sensor 14 exceeds a specified pressure.
