Abstract:
To improve the display quality of an electro-optical device.SOLUTION: The electro-optical device comprises: a plurality of scan lines; k signal lines (k is an integer of 3 or greater); a reference line given a reference potential; a pixel arranged in correspondence to each intersection of the plurality of scan lines and the k signal lines, including a holding capacitor connected to the reference lines, and holding the potential corresponding to an image signal in the holding capacitor; an image signal circuit for sequentially supplying the image signal to the k signal lines in k supply periods based on k selection signals for sequentially selecting the k signal lines during a horizontal scan period; a precharge circuit for supplying a precharge signal to a signal line among the k signal lines before being supplied with the image signal by the image signal circuit in a prescribed order during a horizontal scan period; and a control circuit for controlling the k selection signals so that at lease one of first and last supply periods among the k supply periods is extended to be longer than a prescribed supply period except the first and last supply periods among the k supply periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
