Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adhesion part from peeling off or failing in continuity in an electro-optical device constituted as an electro-optical panel module, by realizing a construction by which no stress is applied to the adhesion part to an external terminal section even though a flexible wiring substrate is twisted.
SOLUTION: Plate shaped supporting bodies 14 and 15 are formed projectingly toward the front from the both edge sections of an opening section 12 formed on the front surface of a panel mounting frame 10. The bodies 14 and 15 are extended to the internal side along the section 12 so that they are mutually closing to each other. The bottom surfaces of the bodies 14 and 15 are made into flat supporting surfaces 14a and 15a. The bottom surface of a flexible wiring substrate 26 is supported by a bottom surface 12a and the front surface is supported by the surfaces 14a and 15a.
