To provide an electro static sorting device capable of efficiently sorting friction-charged mixtures of plastics and metals.
A first high-voltage electrode in pairs forming a first electrostatic field and a second high-voltage electrode in pairs forming a second electrostatic field are provided. At first electrostatic field, a crushed mixture is sorted out into crushed plastic pieces and crushed metallic pieces. At the second high- voltage electrode in pairs, a second electrostatic filed is formed in which the crushed plastic pieces sorted out at the first electrostatic field is received to be further sorted out in accordance with the charged polarity and charged amount. Further, a damper is provided to receive and drop by predetermined amount the crushed plastic pieces ported at the first electrostatic field toward the second high-voltage electrode in pairs for supply.
