The method of manufacturing an electrode for the electrochemical device includes: a step of imparting lithium and an element other than constituent materials of the electrode which has an atomic weight larger than lithium to a negative electrode precursor 41 by using lithium vapor and vapor of the element. In the negative electrode precursor 41 made by the manufacturing method, a quantity of lithium imparted to the negative electrode precursor 41 per unit area can be estimated, thereby administrating the quantity of lithium imparted.
