Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the variation in lithium ion pre-doping.SOLUTION: An electrochemical device comprises: a first electrode unit in which first positive and negative electrodes are alternately laminated through a first separator; a second electrode unit in which second positive and negative electrodes are alternately laminated through respective second separators; a lithium ion supply source provided between the first and second electrode units; a third separator wound around the first electrode unit; and a fourth separator wound around the second electrode unit. The number of times that the third separator overlaps with itself between the first electrode unit and the lithium ion supply source is the same as the number of times that the fourth separator overlaps with itself between the second electrode unit and the lithium ion supply source. The first and second negative electrodes are pre-doped with lithium ions from metallic lithium provided in the lithium ion supply source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
