Abstract:
To provide an electrochemical device and a manufacturing method thereof with low resistance of a conduction path and high output characteristics.SOLUTION: An electrochemical device according to the present invention includes a power storage element, a connection plate, and a rupture disk. The power storage element includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, and is wound such that the positive electrode and the negative electrode are stacked with the separator interposed therebetween, and has a plurality of lead plates electrically connected to the positive electrode or the negative electrode. The connection plate has a first main surface on the power storage element side and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, and a groove-shaped rib is provided on the first main surface, the plurality of lead plates stacked on the first main surface are connected by resistance welding. The rupture disk is connected to the second main surface of the connection plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
