Abstract:
To suppress concentration of stress at a specific portion of an intermediate layer.SOLUTION: An electrochemical reaction single cell includes an electrolyte layer including a solid oxide, an air electrode and a fuel electrode facing each other in a first direction with an electrolyte layer interposed therebetween, and an intermediate layer formed between the electrolyte layer and the air electrode. In the electrochemical reaction single cell, at least a part of the outer edge of the intermediate layer is located inside the outer edge of the electrolyte layer when viewed in the first direction. Moreover, a plurality of protruding portions that protrude toward the outer edge of the electrolyte layer are formed on at least a part of the outer edge of the intermediate layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
