Abstract:
To impart good characteristics to an electrochromic material by controlling an orientation structure.SOLUTION: An electrochromic material comprising a conductive polymer is provided, in which the conductive polymer contains a Lewis acid and has an orientation. A method for manufacturing the electrochromic material is provided, including a step of preparing an oligomer in a liquid crystal electrolyte from a monomer having an arylene unit structure that is monocyclic or has more rings and contains at least a thiophene ring, a pyridine ring, a pyrrole ring or a furan ring, or having a heteromonocyclic compound, and then electrochemically polymerizing the oligomer in a liquid crystal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
