PURPOSE: To obtain an electroconductive coating composition comprising an epoxy group-containing polymerizable compound, a compound capable of decomposing by active beam and producing an acid component, an electroconductive polyaniline and an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based resin and useful for formation of coating film excellent in conductivity and transparency.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. polymerizable compound having at least two or more epoxy groups in the molecule, preferably an alicyclic epoxy compound of formula I, II, etc., (B) 0.01-10 pts.wt. compound capable of being decomposed by active rays and producing an acid component, preferably an iodonium salt compound, a sulfonium compound or an iron-arene compound (e.g. a compound of formula III), (C) 0.1-30 pts.wt. electroconductive polyaniline and (D) 10-100 pts.wt. alkyl (meth)acrylate-based resin. The composition is applied to a substrate such as a film, a plate or a molding and irradiated with active rays such as ultraviolet rays to form coating film excellent in conductivity and transparency.
