To provide an electroconductive coating good in electrical conductivity, hard to cause loss of the electroconductive material on a substrate and change in electrical resistance even if the substrate undergoes a flexural deformation or the like, and capable of forming an electroconductive layer highly adhesive to a substrate.
This electroconductive coating comprises a base polymer, an electroconductive material and water or an organic solvent; wherein the base polymer is characterized by being obtained by polymerizing, in an aqueous medium, (B) 100 pts.wt. of a monomer mixture comprising a diene-based monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of (A) 5-100 pts.wt. of a resin obtained by at least partially neutralizing a polymer having ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived monomer unit and an acid value of 50-300.
