Abstract:

To achieve a high picture quality printing and the prevention of the picture quality deterioration on using for a long period by stably producing and using an electroconductive polyamide filament yarn having a stable specific resistance value, and suitable stiffness and body as an electrostatically charged brush and a cleaner brush, and also achieve the small-sizing of an instrument by simultaneous use of the brush as the electrostatically charged brush and cleaner brush.

This electroconductive polyamide multi-filament yarn is characterized by containing 10-40 wt.% electroconductive carbon, having 103≤R≤108 specific resistance value R (Ωcm), distributing the carbon component substantially uniformly in cross sectional direction, and also with that the following formulae are satisfied by its single fiber fineness D (dtex), initial modulus Y (cN/dtex) and relative cross sectional secondary moment I. 2≤D≤10, 40≤D1/2×Y×I≤100. And the brush for a copying machine of an electrophotographic recording method by using the electroconductive polyamide filament yarn is also provided.
