Abstract:

To provide an electroconductive rubber roller that reduces resistance variation caused by deterioration of hydrin rubber caused by long-hour electrifying process in the electroconductive rubber roller, for example, transcription roller, charged roller or developing roller where a rubber layer is formed with non-foaming rubber having reduced adhesion to the roller surface.

In the electroconductive rubber roller that is formed on a conductive core material with the rubber layer made of the non-foaming rubber, the amount of magnesium oxide is 1.0 to 10.0 pts.mass, active zinc oxide is 0.1 to 1.0 pt.mass and 2-mercaptobenzimidazol is 2.0 to 5.0 pts.mass and the amount of epichlorohydrin rubber is 5 to 100 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of polymer component in the rubber material in the rubber layer.
