To provide an electroconductive sewing thread having sufficient electroconductivity in practical use conditions, stable in an exposed rate of the electroconductive fibers onto thread surfaces of the electroconductive sewing machine sewing thread by bringing the same to be an electroconductive conjugated yarn, capable of being firmly fixed in sewn products and able to be suitably used for clothing such as working uniforms for clean rooms and medical uses, and interior design applications such as curtains and material applications.

The electroconductive sewing machine sewing thread is prepared by using at least ≥1 electroconductive conjugated yarn comprising a covering constituted so as the electroconductive fiber to be in a sheath portion and a thermoplastic fiber to be in a core part and twisted in the reverse direction to the covering, and the electroconductive fiber used for the electroconductive conjugated yarn has 1×104-1×109Ω/cm electric resistance and ≥1.0 cN strength.
