Abstract:
To provide an electrode which can easily achieve both of the improvement of a battery reaction performance and a long life.SOLUTION: An electrode comprises: a base material; and a catalyst carried by the base material. The catalyst contains: a first catalyst structured by a complex oxide of a first element and a second element. An element of each of the first element and the second element is different. The first element is one kind of elements, selected from a group of Ti, Sn, Ce, W, Ta, Mo, and Nb. The second element is one kind of elements, selected from a group of Nb, Mn, Fe, Cu, Ti, Sn, and Ce. A rate of the number of mols of the first element to a total number of mols of the first element and the second element in the complex oxide is 0.4 or larger and is less than 0.9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
