To provide an electrode cover for a pet body fat measuring implement, permitting extremely easy and precise measurement of the body fat of a pet by the impedance method without requiring much labor.
The electrode cover 20 for the pet body fat measuring implement is impregnated with conduction adjunctive solution, and has two current electrodes 14 and two voltage electrodes 13. The electrode cover 20 comprises an electrode body 11 to be pressed on a part of the pet's body and a control-computing part 12 with an impedance measuring circuit connected to the electrode body 11 for controlling the electric current applied when the body fat is measured and for computing the body fat based on the biological impedance measured from the measured voltage. When the electrode cover 20 is used, the electrode cover is engaged with the pet body fat measuring implement 10 for measuring the body fat of the pet. When the pet body fat measuring implement 10 engaged with the electrode cover 20 is pressed on the part of the pet's body, the impregnated conduction adjunctive solution leaks up to the inside and outside of the electrode cover.
