This electrode device is inserted into the furnace from the furnace inner wall through a furnace shell part 1 and the furnace inner wall 2 positioned inside of the furnace shell part of the high-temperature electric furnace, and connected to a heater composed of a resistance heat generator 3B mounted in the furnace of the high-temperature electric furnace. A gas introduction pipe 10 for spraying a gas toward the inside of the furnace is mounted on a clearance 8 between the furnace inner wall and the electrode inserted from the furnace inner wall.
