Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for attaining a stable reciprocating motion of a droplet in a droplet electroporation method, the technology allowing the effective introduction of a foreign substance to be executed in a stable manner.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an electroporation electrode electroporates a cell in a droplet formed in an insulating liquid to allow a foreign substance to be introduced into the cell. In the electroporation electrode comprises a structure, (A) a core electrode and a surrounding electrode are included, (B) the core electrode is an electrode member served as a first polar electrode disposed inside the surrounding electrode with a gap from the surrounding electrode, and (C) the surrounding electrode is an electrode member served as a second polar electrode circumferentially provided around the core electrode with a gap from the core electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
