This electrode feeding device 12 is formed by providing a chuck part 18 for holding the exposed end part of a bar-shaped electrode 6 held feedably to an electrode holding device 1 installed on a Z-axis slider 4, and allowing such a role as an electrode extraction means that at least either of the chuck part 18 and the electrode holding device 1 is moved in the axial direction of the bar-shaped electrode 6 to extract the bar-shaped electrode 6 from a holding device main body 1 to be played by the Z-axis slider 4. Because the exposed end part of the bar-shaped electrode 6 is held by the chuck part 18 and the electrode holding device 1 is moved by the Z-axis slider 4, the bar-shaped electrode 6 can be extracted by a desired amount.
