To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with an excellent charging/discharging property, an electrode material for realizing the above secondary battery, and a manufacturing method of the electrode material for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
The electrode material for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is to be a porous material which can store and release Li reversibly, and the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains the above material as a negative electrode activator. The manufacturing method of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises (i) a process of forming a thin film (particles) of a material containing Si, and (ii) a process of forming a porous thin film (particles) by forming fine holes on the thin film (particles) through a positive electrode oxidation method.
