Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of improving battery performance and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same.SOLUTION: The electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains first carboxymethyl cellulose having a degree of etherification of 1.0 or larger and second carboxymethyl cellulose having a degree of etherification of less than 1.0. A weight ratio of the first carboxymethyl cellulose to the second carboxymethyl cellulose is 1.0 or larger and less than 18.5.
