Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a packing density of an electrode so as to provide high output and a large volume energy density by using an unidirectionally arranged body of a carbon fiber.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple carbon fibers are pulled and arranged unidirectionally to provide an unidirectionally arranged body. This carbon fiber unidirectionally arranged body electrode can be used in plane shape, and alternatively, it can be used by winding into a spiral shape. As the carbon fibers are arranged unidirectionally, the bulk density is increased, so that capacity per volume is improved, and on the other hand, an electrode surface area is increased by the carbon fiber so that a high output battery is provided.
