To prevent stuck members from being peeled off during machining or discharging by closely sticking a discharge member and a chucking member, and providing irregularities on a connection boundary face.
Copper C1100P with the thickness of about 20 mm is used for a discharge member, and carbon steel SS400 with the thickness of about 45 mm is used for a chucking member to manufacture an explosive cladding clad sheet with corrugated irregularities of 20-5000 μm on a connection boundary face. The connection boundary face is checked by the ultrasonic flaw detection test of JISG0601 and the infiltration flaw detection test of JISZ2343, and 100%- explosive cladding is confirmed. This clad sheet is cut to the thickness of (copper about 15 + carbon steel about 40) mm, and it is machined to the length of about 70 mm and the width of about 30 mm to obtain an electrode member.
