Abstract:
To provide an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery such as a lithium ion secondary battery with a high cycle property, and to provide its manufacturing method.
On the electrode for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, a thin film of silicon material in which, one or more elements chosen from among boron, phosphorous, nitrogen, antimony, arsenic, aluminum, gallium and indium are doped, having specific resistance of not higher than 10 Ωcm in a state of a wafer or an ingot, is formed on a metallic foil by a physical thin film forming method or a chemical thin film forming method. The electrode for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell is provided with a superior cycle property.
