Abstract:
PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of an MHD generator by compressing work gas formed as plasma as interposed between an air compressor and a gas turbine or the like and then supplying it into an MHD generator duct, thereby enhancing the temperature and conductivity of the gas. CONSTITUTION:Work gas formed as plasma containing sheet material is compressed as interposed between an air compressor and a gas turbine, and the temperature and conductivity of the gas are enhanced, and the gas is supplied to an MHD generator duct 2. In this manner work gas having a temperature higher than 3,000 deg. can be obtained, and the efficiency can be enhanced.
