Abstract:
To improve a life of an electrode by using the electrode consisting of Cu group alloy containing Zr, Cr and the rest of Cu.
All or a part of an electrode for a plasma generating device of plasma torch, arc generating torch, etc., are made of Cu-Zr-Cr ternary system alloy of Cu group alloy containing Zr, Cr as an essential component with the rest of Cu. Thus, by using the electrode consisting of ternary system alloy as a constitutional material, the electrode of life exceeding 350 hours is obtained.
