To provide an electrode plate for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is excellent in output/input characteristics and cycle characteristics, and also to provide the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the electrode plate for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery as a positive electrode plate and/or a negative electrode plate, and a battery pack.
The electrode plate for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is constituted by containing a metal oxide capable of lithium ion insertion/elimination reaction in an electrode active material layer as a binder for fixing electrode active material particles onto a current collector, and installing a coating layer made of the metal oxide at least at a part of the current collector surface.
