Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a electrodeless fluorescent lamp using a clamp type power supply transformer in which a manufacturing process to engage and arrange the power supply transformer in the electrodeless fluorescent discharge lamp main body is extremely simple, and in which both of the electrodeless fluorescent discharge lamp main body and the power supply transformer can be packed up separately, transported, and assembled at installation place.
SOLUTION: This lamp is constituted of the discharge lamp main body in which the inner wall of a glass tube formed in ring-shape is coated by a fluorescent coating, and in which mercury vapor is enclosed in the glass tube, and the clamp type power supply transformer in which the ring-shaped iron core is divided into two, a power supply coil is wound at least on one of them, one end of the ring-shaped iron cores divided into two is rotatably joined mutually, and a removable fixing means is installed at the other end, and the ring-shaped iron core which is obtained by dividing the clamp type power supply transformer is fitted removably by surrounding one part of the discharge lamp main body and the iron core is made to be coupled in ring-shape.
