Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of coating due to the generation of mold and bacteria in the electrolyte of an electrodeposition tank.
CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm 2 provided in an electrodeposition tank 1 and an electrolyte tank 3 for adjusting the conductivity of the electrolyte are connected through an electrolyte discharge pipeline 4 and an electrolyte supply pipeline 5, and plural cyclones 19 are provided to the pipeline 5 in parallel. The electrolyte discharged into the electrolyte tank 3 from the diaphragm 2 through the pipeline 4, the conductivity of the electrolyte is adjusted in the tank 3, and then the electrolyte is supplied to the cyclone 19 of the pipeline 5 by a pump 7. An UV lamp is set in the cyclone 19, the remains of the mold and bacteria exterminated by the UV are discharged together with sludge, and a clean electrolyte is returned to the diaphragm 2. When the electrodeposition tank 1 is not used, the electrolyte passed through the cyclone 19 is returned to the electrolyte tank 3 through an electrolyte circulating pipeline 25.
