Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve coating quality by preventing the defect.of electrodeposition coating.
CONSTITUTION: An electrodeposition coating liquid in an electrodeposition coating tank 1 is sprayed to the surface of a material W to be coated just prior to admission into the tank 1 to impart wettability thereto and to make the electric resistance of the surface uniform. The nonuniform deposition of the coating material between the immersed parts and non-immersed parts produced after the admission into the tank is thus suppressed. The liquid from an ultrafilter is sprayed to the surface of the material W to be coated right after emission from the electrodeposition coating 1 to remove the solids which are the case for the coating defect from the surface of the material W to be coated and simultaneously to recover the electrodeposition coating liquid into the tank 1.
