Abstract:
To provide an electrodeposition paint composition for forming an insulation film having excellent surge voltage resistance and a uniform and sufficient thickness; and to provide an insulation member such as an insulated electric wire favorably usable to coils for wirings of electronic equipment inverter-controlled, and requiring higher power and higher voltage.
An electrodeposition paint composition includes (a) a polyimide block copolymer having a siloxane bond in the molecular skeleton and having an anionic group in the molecule, (b) a basic compound, (c) a water soluble polar solvent, and (d) a poor solvent for the polyimide block copolymer, wherein the mass ratio of (c):(d):(b) is 100:45 to 65: 0.5 to 1.3.
