To prevent the occurrence of loading by chips while maintaining sufficient grinding force by forming a stripe-shaped super abrasive grain layer by fixing super abrasive grains in a stripe shape to an action surface, specifying a width of a single strip stripe, and setting the whole area of the stripe-shaped super abrasive grain layer to specific % of the whole area of the action surface.
Super abrasive grains are fixed in a stripe shape to an action surface 1 of an electrodeposition tool, and form a stripe-shaped super abrasive grain layer 2. A width of a single strip stripe is 1 to 5mm, much preferably, 2 to 4mm. There is a possibility that grinding force and conditioning performance or the like are not sufficiently exhibited when a width of the single strip stripe is less than 1mm. There is a possibility that a super abrasive gain layer surface is easily loaded when a width of the single strip stripe exceeds 5mm. The whole area of the stripe-shaped super abrasive grain layer is 2 to 50% of the whole area of an action surface. There is a possibility that grinding force and conditioning performance lack when the whole area of the stripe- shaped super abrasive grain layer is less than 2% of the whole area of the action surface.
