Title:
ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM MONITORING SYSTEM MEASURABLE IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002051999
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electroencephalogram(EEG) monitoring system which allows for smooth measurement of the EEG in a magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) equipment.

The EEG monitoring system measurable in the MRI equipment comprises; a nonmetal electrode 3 for detecting the EEG, a nonmetal electric cord 4 connected with the electrode 3, a differential amplifier 5 installed outside the MRI equipment by extension of the code 4, electricity-light converter 6 converting the EEG signal amplified by the amplifiers 5 into optical signals, optical fibers 7 connected with the converter 6, light-electricity converter 8 connected with the optical fibers 7, a data processing and recording device 9 connected with the converter 8.
