The electroforming device 10 having a vessel, which houses a plating liq. 11 substantially consisting of nickel sulfamate and executes electroforming, is constituted of a cathode plate 13, which is disposed at the bottom of the vessel and has a recessed part 15, a glass original disk 16, which is disposed in the recessed part and is intended to form a master stamper, a contact ring 17 made of metal, which is disposed on the periphery of the cathode plate so as to extend on the surface of the glass original disk, a holding member 18, which is disposed on the periphery of the cathode plate and fixes the glass original disk via the contact ring 17, and the unsoluble anode 19, which is disposed opposite to the glass original disk 16. The unsoluble anode 19 is formed so as to have a grid-like net and is plated with a noble metal.
