Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide electroforms having a narrow dimensional tolerance and high dimensional stability by maintaining structural stability during production and a process for producing the same.
CONSTITUTION: This process for producing the electroforms includes the respective stages for electroforming a metallic layer on the inner surface of a hollow mandrel immersed in an electroforming bath to form the electroformed parts having hollow parts; packing the inside of the hollow parts with a packing material before separating the electroforms from the hollow mandrel, separating the packing material from the mandrel and separating at least part of the packing material from the electroformed parts.
