Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel electrogenic composition having the property of generating electricity; a novel power-generating device using the electrogenic composition; a power generator; and a power storage-generator.SOLUTION: An electrogenic composition of the present invention comprises a mixture of: a powdery electrodeposited composite; a conductive assistant including graphene powder as a primary component; and metal hydroxide powder. The respective constituents are pulverized so as to be substantially identical to each other in maximum particle diameter as required. The electrogenic composition is shaped into a mold of an appropriate external form as it is or after adding water thereto. The mold works as a power-generating device. In addition, a power generator of the invention can be obtained by disposing a pair of electrodes is arranged so that the power-generating device is sandwiched between the paired electrodes. Further, a power storage-generator of the invention can be obtained by using the power-generating device of the invention as a positive electrode member to laminate the positive electrode member, a separator and a negative electrode member and dispose the laminate with the positive and negative electrode members brought into contact with respective collector electrodes in the presence of an electrolyte solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
