Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolyte composition in which energy conversion efficiency of solar battery can be improved, and further, in which a high energy conversion efficiency can be obtained when the solar battery is used in the environment of higher temperatures.
SOLUTION: The electrolyte is equipped with an electrolyte containing at least one kind of imidazolium salt selected from the group composed of 1- methyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide, 1-methyl-3-isopropylimidazolium iodide, 1- methyl-3-butylimidazolium iodide, 1-methyl-3-isobutylimidazolium iodide and 1-methyl-3-s-butylimidazolium iodide, halogen-containing compound and a compound which contains at least one kind of element selected from the group composed of N, P and S and which is possible to form an onium salt with the halogen-containing compound.
