Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte, an electrolyte solution or a solid electrolyte, having high cycle characteristics, being used for an electrochemical device, such as a lithium battery, a lithium ion battery, or an electrical double layer capacitor, and to provided a battery using either one of these electrolytes.
SOLUTION: This electrolyte for the electrochemical device is composed of at least one of compounds indicated by general formula (1), Aa+(PF6-)a, Aa+(ClO4-)a, Aa+(BF4-)a, Aa+(AsF6-)a, and Aa+(SbF6-)a, and the electrolyte solution or the solid electrolyte, and the battery use this electrolyte. In the general formula (1), M shows a transition metal, or a metal element of the III, IV, or V group in the periodic table, and Aa+ shows a metal ion, a proton, or an onium ion.
