To provide a manufacturing method of an anode of an electrolytic capacitor capable of suppressing a leakage current.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an anode of an electrolytic capacitor includes a step of preparing and mixing a single raw material of titanium alloy as a starting material, a step of heating the mixed starting material to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the starting material and melting the starting material, a step of lowering the temperature of the melted starting material and cooling the material to obtain an alloy block, a step of hot-forging the alloy block, and a step of processing the alloy block subjected to hot-forging treatment into a plate shape, a powder shape, or a foil shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
