Abstract:
To electrically detect a pressure rise in an electrolytic capacitor from the outside of the electrolytic capacitor.
In the electrolytic capacitor 1 in which a capacitor element 10 is housed in a bottomed cylinder case 2 and the opening end of the cylinder case 2 is sealed by an opening sealing member 5 while lead terminals 4 led out from the capacitor element 10 are penetrated to the opening sealing member 5 and exposed to the outside of the armored case 2, an internal-pressure detecting means 7 capable of electrically detecting to reach a fixed value or more of pressure in the cylinder case 2 under the state of the operation of the capacitor element 10 is mounted on the opening sealing member 5.
