An electrolyte 10 containing an object to be synthesized, an object to be analyzed or the like is retained in a light transmissive container 2 (light transmissive container of which at least a pair of side surfaces facing each other are transparent) that is a bottomed tubular body with a substantially rectangular cross-section and has transparency. A working electrode-fixed frame 4 to which a working electrode 3 is fixed, is charged into the light transmissive container 2 to provide the working electrode 3 in the light transmissive container 2. A rotation guide 4a for guiding the rotation of a stirrer 13 for stirring the electrolyte 10 retained in the light transmissive container 2, is formed at the bottom part of the working electrode-fixed frame 4.
