Abstract:
To provide an ozone generator which is useful for the disinfection of industrial water, water for domestic use and water of a hot spring center, the sterilization of the surfaces of meats, fishes, and fruits, and private hygiene using ozone-containing water, e.g. mouth cleaning, and which is simple, inexpensive and easy to use.
An electrolytic cell for generating ozone has two grid electrodes dipped in an electrolyte, and power is supplied continuously or intermittently to the two grid electrodes from a direct current power source. The electrolyte is composed of at least one neutral salt. The first electrode and the second electrode of the two grid electrodes are used as an anode and a cathode, respectively.
