PURPOSE: To obtain an electrolytic condenser having excellent high-frequency impedance characteristics and to obviate any visual defect due to inner gas production by a method wherein an electrolyte comprising tetramethyl ammonium salt of nitrophthalic acid as a solute is used for the title electrolyte.
CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte comprising a tetramethyl ammonium salt of nitrophthalic acid as a solute is used for the title electrolyte. For example, as for a gas absorption effective solute in high conductivity, 3-nitrophthalic acid tetramethyl ammonium or 4-nitrophthalic acid tertra methyl ammonium is applicable. A solvent is mainly composed of r-butylolactone but any other organic polarity solvent such as ethylene glycol etc., may be used as a mixed solvent. Furthermore, any polysaccharide, water etc., such as any other organic acid or salt thereof, inorganic acid or salt thereof, mannitol etc., may be added to the electrolyte.
