Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrolyte for a lead-acid battery where an internal resistance can be reduced and a cycle lifetime characteristic can be improved even if dilute sulfuric acid is unfluidized by the effect of powder and the like including mainly SiO2.
CONSTITUTION: Hollow or foamed fine particles including mainly SiO2 are mixed into an electrolyte for a lead-acid battery where dilute sulfuric acid is mixed with at least one or more kinds of powdery and colloidal silicas including mainly SiO2 so as to be unfluidized.
