To provide an electrolytic solution jet machining method for machining a conductive hard-to-cut material into a fine and arbitrary machining shape with high accuracy to have excellent finished surface quality and finished surface roughness.
A jet nozzle 1 is connected to a cathode of a constant current power source 2 and a workpiece is connected to an anode. A relative movement locus is set so that a plurality of machining grooves according to the same machining condition or different machining conditions based on a superposition principle to obtain a contour shape of a desired machining shape by taking a machining depth of the desired machining shape as a mark. The object machining is carried out for the workpiece 3 by scanning the jet nozzle 1 along the set relative movement locus.
