Title:
ELECTROLYTIC WATER PREPARATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3468839
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an electrolytic water preparation device of comparatively simple structure which consumes no salt water not yet electrolyzed and consumes a small amount of power for electrolysis.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of an electrolytic cell 10 is divided into a central chamber C and an anode chamber A and a cathode chamber B located on both sides of the central chamber by a couple of diaphragms 17, into which ions are passable, and electrolytic power is supplied from a direct current power source 22 to an anode 20 and a cathode 21 set respectively in the anode chamber and the cathode chamber. A raw water introducing tube 25a and an acidic water intake tube 26 are respectively made to communicate with the anode chamber on different locations, while a raw water introducing tube 25b and an alkaline water intake tube 27 are respectively make communicate with the cathode chamber on different locations. A salt feed opening 15a for feeding salt to the central chamber is formed on the upper section of the central chamber, and the salt feed opening is closed by a removable cover 19. A concentrated salt water tank can be installed in place of the salt feed opening and the cover, and concentrated salt water stored in the tank can be fed into the central chamber through a communicating tube by means of gravity only.
