Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electromagnetic acoustic transducer which is prevented from deteriorating in acoustic performance owing to a reflow solder process.
SOLUTION: A decrease in the lowest resonance frequency Fo of a resonance plate 22 by the demagnetization of a magnet 10 and an increase in the lowest resonance frequency Fo of the resonance plate 22 due to the heat shrinkage of a support ring 20 are canceled by the irreversible demagnetization at a reflow solder process temperature that the magnet 10 has and by the heat shrinkage at the reflow solder process temperature that the support ring 20 has, to suppress variation in the lowest resonance frequency Fo of the resonance plate 22, thereby stabilizing acoustic performance.
