Abstract:

To provide desired thrust stably by including the coil winding of a non-magnetic coil consisting of a non-magnetic material between the coil windings of a ferromagnetic coil, while the coil windings are allowed to adhere.

In an electromagnetic actuator, an inner yoke 2 consisting of a ferromagnetic material is arranged in a cylindrical outer yoke 1 that is made of a ferromagnetic material and a pair of ferromagnetic coils 3 is arranged in series in an axial direction on the inner-wall surface of the outer yoke 1. In the ferromagnetic coil 3, parallel wires consisting of iron where an entire portion is covered with an insulator are wound concentrically with the yoke 2, and the outer periphery is fixed to the inner-wall surface of the outer yoke 1 via an adhesive. Then, a coil winding 5a of a non-magnetic coil 5 is wound by one turn between coil windings 3a of the ferromagnetic coil 3, and the coil winding 5a of the non-magnetic coil 5 is allowed to adhered to the coil winding 3a of the ferromagnetic coil 3, thus making uniform the gap between the coil windings of the ferromagnetic coil and hence stably showing desired thrust.
