Abstract:
To provide an electromagnetic brake operation compensation device capable of detecting a state of an electromagnetic brake device in real-time and making it possible to continue the operation of a facility in a more appropriate state.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic brake operation compensation device includes a brake operation determining unit. The brake operation determining unit begins receiving a gap signal from an optical second sensor provided to measure the spacing between a pair of brake pads from a first time when an opening signal output from a first sensor provided to detect that the set of brake pads has opened a disc is received, measures the spacing on the basis of the gap signal, and sets a compensation current to increase a holding current of the coil. The brake operation determining unit sets the compensation current when the spacing is smaller than a pre-set first threshold value, and sets the compensation current to zero when the spacing is greater than or equal to the first threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
