Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE FOR BRAKE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58198145
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the apparatus in size and prevent the generation of sliding noises, by directly securing a brake plate to a motor rotary shaft, providing a fin integrally with the brake plate and securing a lining to an armature so as to face the brake plate. CONSTITUTION:Brake pins 17 each having one end secured to a stator 6 are provided at several positions on the entire periphery of the stator 6. An armature 18 is fitted and engaged with the brake pins 17 so as to be slidable with respect to the brake pins 17. A brake plate 19 is secured to a rotary shaft 2. A fin 20 is integrally provided on one side surface of the brake plate 19. In addition, a lining 21 is secured to the armature 18 so as to face the brake plate 19. Thus, it becomes possible to reduce the apparatus in size, and the generation of sliding noises and spline noises can be prevented. Moreover, the lining can be effectively cooled.
